Juhlatalo Juurikkasaari (Festival house Juurikkasaari) is located in the old workers´association building, situated on the island of Säynätsalo, 16 kilometers from Jyväskylä city. 

Säynätsalo is renowed for its international architecture, for example Alvar Aalto, Wivi Lönn, one of the first female architects in Finland, and Professor of Architecture Armas Lindgren. Our lunch restaurant and cafe are open throughout year.  In summertime,  there is open-air dancing in the pavilion and the local boat club´s home port. A lakeside sauna can be heated by arrangement all year around.

Festhouse Juurikkasaari, near Jyväskylä city, is a pleasant choice of venue for companies and training cources and conferences. Juurikkasaari is a wonderful base for banquet facilities also. You can arrange family parties, business functions, conferences and special occasions for 15-120 people all around the year and even up to 1000 people in summer.
